Holz (Daily Bread Author) says; Together we stand firm when life's headwinds gust our way together . Does this quote resonate well with you? In 2020, We all have witnessed how nations like South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Denmark fought the global virus. We have watched how their government and people became united, and how they successfully achieved possible results despite life’s headwinds such as COVID-19 which took the lives of millions of people across the globe. We also observed how people from other nations played the blame game while the repercussions were just too enormous. A government system that was thought to be stabl

God's Daily Promise

What, me worry? "So I tell you, don't worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food, drink, and clothes. Matthew 6:25 NLT Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. Psalm 55:22 NLT The mistrust of anxiety Words of encouragement from the Master are always welcome. The stresses of life come upon us and a brother or sister in Christ reminds us that He is in control. He is sovereign, He knows when the sparrow falls, He numbers the hairs on our heads, He clothes the lilies of the field. He says not to worry about our life, and we welcome the suggestion as an encouraging pat on the back. But how often do we view this verse as a commandment from on high? It may not carry the force of "Thou shalt not," and it may not have the emphasis of a "Go into all the world," but it is written as an imperative nonetheless. "Do not," Jesus says, and Paul echoes this injunctio

God's Promise

Have you experienced the peace of God during times of trouble? Be silent, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. Psalm 46:6 NLT Be still my soul Be still, my soul! thy God doth undertake To guide the future as He has the past, Thy hope, they confidence let nothing shake; All now mysterious shall be bright at last. Be still, my soul! the waves and winds still know His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below. Be Still, My Soul (v2) , Katharina Amalia von Schlegel (1697-?) Whatever your circumstances, if you believe the first line of this great hymn, you will be at rest. In the midst of the psalmist's troubles, the Lord said, "Be still, and know that I am God." It was these same words that spoke to Katharina von Schlegel in the turbulent times of post-Reformation Germany. A century after Luther's reforms, central Europe was racked by the Thirty Years' War, which pitted Catholics against Protestan

Do You Trust Him?

Do You Trust Him? by  Max Lucado I know God knows what’s best. I know I don’t.  I know he cares. Such words come easily when the water is calm. But when you’re looking at a wrecked car or a suspicious-looking mole, when war breaks out or thieves break in, do you trust him? Scripture, from  Old Testament  to New, from prophets to poets to preachers, renders one unanimous chorus: God directs the affairs of humanity. No leaf falls without God’s knowledge. No dolphin gives birth without his permission. No wave crashes on the shore apart from his calculation. God has never been surprised. Not once. I am the one who creates the light and makes the darkness. I am the one who sends good times and bad times. I, the Lord, am the one who does these things. (Isa. 45:7) Some find the thought impossible to accept. One dear woman did. After I shared these ideas in a public setting, she asked to speak with me. Husband at her side, she related the story of her horrible childhood. First abused, then ab

Your brain will work tirelessly to achieve the statements you give your subconscious mind. When those statements are your goals, you are certain to achieve them! Giving yourself goals can be tricky however, and your subconscious mind needs things put a certain way. You need to be specific with yourself. The more specific you are with your goal, the more your brain has to go on to make just those things happen. Remember, vague goals produce vague results. Don’t be afraid to be detailed with what you want! Write it all down as if you were putting in an order. Your subconscious will make it happen for you by steering you toward those opportunities. Your goals might seem a bit overwhelming at first glance. But look again! Do you see how your goals can be broken down into a series of steps? When looking up a recipe you do not simply find in large letters “Perfect Lasagna Every Time.” No! That of course is the end result, just like your goal. The recipe is there to help you achieve that g

Write Your Way to New Beliefs It's a New Year and time to create new beliefs. A long time a go, I learned to use writing as a powerful too for change. That one belief for me w as that I wasn't smart enough. T he belie fs I wa nted to a dopt were the se: I am a very intelligent person. My ability to learn and grow is excellent. I have all the tools I need to get anything done effectively and efficiently. I wrote those beliefs repeatedly, perhaps 20 times a day for about two weeks, and reread what I'd written several times a day. This writing is an instruction to the subconscious. It's not that you are trying to convince your conscious mind; instead, you are simply sending new information to the subconscious. Using repetition and the emotional conviction, you can impress new beliefs onto your subconscious. Behavior and attraction then occur automatically. Write Out Your New Beliefs You can write yourself a new script, detailing all of your new

Dear Rossano,        You have the power to create gold.   But don’t be like King Midas who couldn’t turn off his powers to create gold.   He couldn’t eat because his food turned to gold.   He couldn’t enjoy his family because his daughter turned to a lifeless gold statue.   What a miserable life King Midas had.   That’s what happens when money becomes your only preoccupation.   Rossano, turn off your moneymaking powers many times during the day, especially when it comes to your relationships.   Life is not all about the money.   Life is all about love.                   Blessings, God PS. Rossano, don’t be greedy.   Whatever you need will come your way.   Believe. Source : Bo Sanchez
