Holz (Daily Bread Author) says; Together we stand firm when life's headwinds gust our way together . Does this quote resonate well with you? We have witnessed nations like South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Denmark were quite successful in their efforts to contain the global virus. When people from nations are united, they can achieve positive results despite life’s headwinds such as covid-19  that took the lives of people by the thousands daily. But when people play the blame game, the repercussions are just too enormous. The system that was thought to be stable, strong, and envied in nations have failed. Even nations w

Life can never be Static

My life is under constant change. Year 2003 when I left Kenya for Hongkong for a job training with light carry baggage with a few clothes. As fate would have it, I never realized that a drastic change on my life is about to unfold. I never made it back to Kenya and it was the longest detour i had before I realized that I am back in Kenya after 13 long years. I had no problems settling down being familiar with surroundings and the Kenyan. Who knows I will be back again in Madagascar where life was always exciting!. http://www.finerminds.com/personal-growth/the-benefits-of-being-resilient/?utm_content=bufferb4215&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer

My Blessings

When situations do not happen the way i had expected, my strong faith in "thy will be done" keeps me strong. When reading articles about the homeless at 125th street, then i feel guilty. I am blessed. NYTimes: K2, a Potent Drug, Casts a Shadow Over an East Harlem Block http://nyti.ms/1hysZI7 Rossano/Out of Africa

Baguio City December 2014

When your body clock is used to a faster pace, boredom can strike you when the stay exceeds for one week in this city of pines .  Besides i need to clean up our flat from dust and get rid of  the common irritating Baguio mold smell due to flat left unused for months. There is an advantage living in a box (condo), not a thing missing, all things are intact. You can expect to see the flat the way you had left it. Its been almost a week since i arrived with Jimboh  and i should have another week in the city before i have to get back  to my Pasig flat to prepare my  journey to a continent that was my second home since 1997 to 2010 ( 13 years), Africa ! With all the traffic , large SUV 's , small roads and the lack of parking in the city, my feet deserves a vacation and rest. I have been dealing with Metro Manila traffic and when your using a manual transmission SUV ( which i prefer), foot pain is inevitable. I decided to walk from  our flat to town using the Leonard Wood r

I was driving at the usual evening hour along Ortigas heading home when i chanced upon a young man whose both legs are affected by polio and walks on the wet street using both arms, trying his best to survive the cold and wet weather and the cruel world where he is in. It was on a red light and this gave me enough time to observe him. Here i am sitting in the comfort of a vehicle and protected from the rain while i was watch him. It is a shame when we often complain about any inconvenience we encounter. I felt the Lord was talking to me, how lucky i am and how other people are suffering. Container Houses

Years ago, i had planned to build a container house on a lot i purchased at Pines Ville  beside the Philippine Military Academy. I was discussing with a house planner on how to construct my container house. Though it never materialized, i ended up selling the lot. (",) Link: This Rusty Shipping Container Seems Abandoned.
